I feel lost

I went up to my hometown to see my sil and nephew. Gives the cousins a chance to play and be cousins. We had a great time but I missed my blog friends and seeing what was going on twitter. Now you see why I feel lost--am I the only one that feels that way? lol

I decided to start cleaning today since my sil will be staying here Thursday. See what I dug out of my dh den? I love that radio! I have to be honest I did not like it at first but it grew on me. I saved it from 3 inches of dust and what knows what. It now has a home on the table my dad gave me. I love the table too because it was my dad's, it has claw feet and a lion head as a pull. It might have a lot of scratches, cigarette burns( from dad) or water rings but I love it just the same. One day I will have my aunt restore it back to its beauty. My dad told me that Leave it to Beaver had one on the show. I never remember seeing it --lol I always looked too.

I now need to get busy on three swaps and my new Happy Mail. I am so happy to be back to blog land --I missed you all--xoxo gina

Look at the HELLO KITTY love!! oh my goodness I am in HK heaven. I love the ring she made. I will have to take an up close pic with me wearing it. Its the coolest and I love big rings!! Do you know how much I love Dark Cherry Mochas? omg---so so much! these were taken today of me with my beloved sb. I love silly photos too--can you tell?

what kind of goodies have you been making? I love working with paper but more and more I want to sit down to make jewelry. I use to make jewelry out of broken watches. I loved opening the backs to see all the wheels and gears. In high school I had a piece go to the regional art show. I will have to see if I can dig up pics.

I have signed up for this cuties craft swap. I love all of her followers awesome creations. Wish me luck on an idea.

1. the plastic owl is from the candy Lindsay sent me
2. liquid pearls for the eyes, around the head and wings
3. stickles for the beak and feet
4. embroidery hoop ( thrift store)
5. felt
6. green ribbon that was on the candy owl package
7. pink ribbon Lindsay tied my cute gifts with
8. purple ribbon target

I am throwing out this challenge---I challenge you to make something for spring/easter that is made of things found around your house. One item has to be something you would have thrown away( like the plastic part of the package). On your marks get set go!!!

Thursday already?

My day will be filled with getting my happy mail packages ready to ship. I was thinking(hard to believe--rofl!!) Poor Charlie Brown only if he lived in a world where happy mail was sent to him. I can't wait for my happy mail partners to receive their goodies.


YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I finally hit the 35 followers mark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to another 80's lover!! no where near 100 or 500 but hey it counts to me! I need to think what kind of goodies I want to giveaway . I am thinking of making this a fun one--how about 2 different ones? That means double fun and more chances of winning!!! Now who doesn't like that? I am going to be in the search for some goodies and post this giveaway in a week( to give me time to look for some awesome goodies). Maybe some pretty nail polish--since we all love painting our nails--:D Makes me feel better when I have pretty nails --how about you? I will see what I can come up with.

thank goodness for Starbucks

If you have been to Starbucks lately, you may know they have a new flavor--DARK CHERRY MOCHA. Do you ever try the new flavors? I seem to stick with my same drink but last Thursday while out shopping for my happy mail partners, I took the plunge. Yes! me I took the plunge from drinking my same old same old to the most yummiest drink ever made. I don't care for chocolate covered cherries unless they are homemade or from the local candy store back home( again home made). This drink is like drinking a chocolate covered cherry and its like a party in your mouth. I say run there and try it asap!!!! well that is if you love chocolate and cherries!!! I had to have another today while at Target. I know I know I am totally addictied---:D ------- it will for sure put a smile on your face---x0x0 gina

Made this over the weekend for ????? ok its a little tease. it says all because 2 people fell in love--then i made two polaroid frames for them to add the pictures.
My dd wanted an ugly doll. Well i think its pretty cute and funny. Syd thinks its scary. What do you think? I guess its mine--:D

SOmething I was thinking about making for awhile. I found this idea on a website a while back but I can't find it (sorry no link) black cardstock and white cardstock to turn my tin into a camera ( still needs some finishing touches).

Last night we had game night at Samuel's school. It was a lot of fun!! We played three games Chutes and Ladders, Sorry and then Operation. Each student left with Dominos and Samuel won Uno to take home.
